Hello, welcome to my little slice of the interweb.
I started this blog in 2007 when I was planning on moving to Los Angeles, at the suggestion of a friend. I grew up in sunny Southern California, went to college at UC Santa Barbara, then moved to Northern California for a little over a year and a half. While I adore the bay area (and get up there as much as I can), it wasn’t for me at the time (and I moved 5 times in that year and a half, all over the bay, just to be sure). My brother flew up to help me pack up my cute little one bedroom apartment on the Peninsula in January of 2008, then we drove through 8 hours of rain where I moved in with the ‘rents for a month while job searching.
I scored a great job in LA at a big law firm on the westside in March of 2008, where I currently work. In my downtime you can catch me: posting on this here blog, trying to figure out my new DLSR camera, champagne brunching, or planning my wedding to a pretty cool guy (going down in fall of 2012).
I didn’t have an About Me section on this blog for four years because I never really knew what to say that didn’t sound like an old Myspace quiz. But here I am. You’ll probably see lots of pictures of my cat Max and very few of me. Maybe someday when I can get Max to take pictures of me, it will be the other way around. For now, so it stands.
Stick around, say hello. Let’s be friends.
